A person can not imagine life without favourite things – they warm and give comfort. The development of still life in art can be explained by constant need of a human to see oneself in surrounding of favourite things. There is a Holland notion as "geselligkeit'" which means coziness, intimacy, but the most important – the warmth of human communication.
